Legalisation of Qatar Degree Certificates and Lessons Learnt
In July 2016, Qatar decided to change the way they legalised Degree Certificates, from Diploma level upwards. Instead of only requiring the degree itself to be legalised, the embassy and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) now also require a Degree Transcript and a cover letter to be legalised alongside it, tripling the cost for anyone deciding to move to Qatar. You can read more about this in our original post here.
Since the change, we’ve had to adapt the way we do things to make sure our customers are aware of the changes, and aren’t caught out by the increased costs or the need to acquire a cover letter and transcript from their university. To make it easier for you to navigate the new rules, we’ve decided to create a document that details the changes that have taken place and shows you exactly what you need to do to make sure your documents are accepted in Qatar.
You can download the document by clicking here.
Once you’ve read it, you’re ready to start legalising your degree certificate for use in Qatar. Click here to be taken to our website, and follow the instructions. We can have your documents legalised and sent back to you (or anywhere else you might need) in as little as 7 days.
